All 27 rooms have en-suite bathrooms, and also include free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee-making facilities, hair dryers, TVs, complimentary bottled water, and ironing equipment. Free overnight parking is available outside The Kings Highway and a paid parking centre is close by. A full breakfast menu is served until noon, a JD Wetherspoon pub is below, and a wealth of bars and restaurants can be found in the neighbouring city centre blocks. The Craig Phadrig fort above the city has great views and forest walks, Loch Ness is less than a 20-minute drive away, and Inverness Airport is 8.5 miles northeast of the city, alongside Moray Firth.

    In the heart of Inverness.

    The Kings Highway has been popular with guests for its central Inverness location, which is close to shopping centres, the bus and rail stations and plenty of pubs and restaurants.

    Guests have been happy to find modern quality at a decent price here, with the lovely bathrooms, comfy beds, complimentary bottled water, and decent-sized quarters all contributing

    The value for money has also been noted as a highlight for the pub meals at the JD Wetherspoon below The Kings Highway, and the variety and quality of meals on offer were appreciated.

    No private car park.

    While it can be possible to find on-street parking for free overnight, some guests were disappointed at the lack of private parking and many ended up paying at the nearby parking building.

    Noise if you are unlucky.

    Although many guests found the hotel to be quiet, despite being above pub, others found it to be too noisy for their liking, and sometimes even more so due to service staff in the morning.
