Rooms/suites are modern in design and they seem to have thought of everything that you might need. It's impressive to note, though, that they have retained things like iron fireplaces and corniced ceilings. These features add substantially to the character of the guesthouse. If you are worried about the kids, don't be! Plastic crockery and cutlery is supplied with them in mind and the ‘on-site' kids can't wait to make new friends. This place has got the lot - for adults and for kids.

You've got a more than acceptable kitchen area in the suite, so it's tempting to chill out and enjoy a DIY breakfast at a time of your choosing and in a ‘relaxed' style. Prepare, though, to be tempted by the breakfast option on offer. It comes at an extra cost, but is very substantial and impressive.

Rooms containing three beds are just a tad on the cramped side. In fairness, though, there's a ‘family room' that isn't cramped at all. Try to book that!

You don't come away for the Wi-Fi, which is just as well because it isn't very good here. It's not worth jumping off Beachy Head over this glitch; it's just a bit inconvenient if you rely on it for work, etc.

Nothing of a horrendous nature, but the rooms have a ‘dated' feel about them. They're clean, but  this is a bit hit and miss on occasions.
