    The Cross is a converted tweed mill dating back to late 19th c. situated in secluded woodland by the River Gynack. Peaceful location. Fine Dining restaurant with 3 AA Red Rosettes which opens onto a riverside terrace ideal for a pre-dinner drink. Good Food Guide 2017. AA Notable Wine List 2017. Eight ensuite bedrooms which have all been refurbished and upgraded since 2013. Two guest lounges with a host of books, DVD's and games available for the odd wet day. AA Inspector's Choice Restaurant with Rooms & AA Breakfast Award.. Good Hotel Guide Cesar Award Scottish Hotel of the Year 2017. Kingussie is just off the main A9 route in the Cairngorm National Park so is an ideal base with walking, skiing and many other outdoor activities close by. The village has its own network of paths which can be joined from our own back gate.
