Guests loved the sumptuous breakfast served every morning. All the ingredients used were fresh and of local produce. There was a good variety and portions were plentiful. It included cereals, jam, blueberry pancakes, toast and fresh fruit. Homemade bread and blueberry drop scones deserve a special mention as per many guests. Packed lunches were also provided on nominal charges.
Rooms are well-decorated, comfortable and clean. Small touches like good quality toiletries, facial wipes and a variety of teas was much appreciated by the guests. Tasty choice of biscuits and drink sachets like hot chocolate were loved by the guests. Twin room on the ground floor is ideal for guests with mobility issues.
The owners of this B&B are very calm and friendly. They warmly welcomed the guests with homemade biscuits and a hot drink. Guests were made to feel at home by their kind and warm gestures. They even provided on the spot taxi service to some guests when there was no taxi service available.
Some of the guests were not very happy to see the mouldy growths on the shower screen all through the edges. This gave a very dirty look to the bathroom.
Few guests felt that the surrounding area gets a little too dark at night, so it is better to carry a torch around if the guests are planning to go for a short stroll.
