Thaba Khaya Lodge

The 4-star Thaba Khaya Lodge is situated only an hour and a half from Johannesburg in amongst the granite outcrops that cover Sable Ranch, a Natural Proclaimed Heritage Site. “Thaba Khaya” means House on the Rock which is exactly what this farm house styled lodge is. Three Standard Rooms are situated within the quaint main lodge, each with its own en-suite bathroom and with sweeping views of the lodge lawns and all the creatures that wander or fly around them. Separate from the main lodge building are three Luxury Suites and a Family Suite each with the added luxuries of in-room Satellite TV, tea/coffee making facilities, mini-bar fridges and air-conditioning. The three Luxury Suites each have private balconies overlooking the reserve and waterhole below, where guests can enjoy the sights and sound of nature in the comfort of their own space. The two rooms in the Family Suite have each got large glass windows overlooking the reserve and the Suite has direct access to the lodge lawns. Guests staying at Thaba Khaya Lodge can enjoy the African bushveld from the comfort of the lodge, by the pool, on the deck overlooking the waterhole or while they wander around the lawns enjoying the antelope.
