Guests also reported feeling safe at the hotel, which is in a secure and secluded position overlooking the water. Moreover, those whose rooms had Bosphorus views were impressed with the panorama.

With extensive spa treatments available plus a Turkish bath, sauna, swimming pool and fitness room, this hotel impressed most guests looking for high end accommodation with a wide choice of leisure facilities on-site.

Unlike some luxury hotels, Swissotel The Bosphorus does provide guests with free Wi-Fi access in all areas, which visitors appreciated. A few, however, thought the signal could occasionally be patchy and that the login process was a little cumbersome.

Some visitors doubted whether the hotel represented value for money compared to other high end accommodation in Istanbul. With many competitively priced dining options in the city, a few guests felt breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel were overpriced even if they were good. Bar prices were also reportedly on the high side.
