The Hotel will occupy prime position alongside a park, authentic 300-stalls marketplace, about 17 shops and offices and a multipurpose centre. In addition, it will also feature a tourist office, an open-air museum and a variety of native restaurants the hotel would “offer all the luxury and comfort of any 4-star hotel but the difference was that this hotel was geared to blend in with the reality of life in Kliptown in the 50s. Even the architecture of today reflects that of the 50s township style.” It will offer full services such as a restaurant, tastefully designed and decorated to reflect the past, while merging with a contemporary, authentically African lifestyle, with entertainment area where local musicians will perform. Rooms will be decorated in an African style with warm colours complemented by local arts and crafts.
