Good base for travelling

Guests say they have a great time at the Sonnhalde in Kingussie, UK, using it as their home base for travelling around the Scottish Highlands. The town is small but beautiful. In the winter the B&B is a perfect place for skiing. Guests call it a warm ski chalet in a house. They love coming into the lounge with the roaring open fires and sinking into the huge and comfortable couches after coming off the hills. Guests appreciate that the skis are kept safe by the owners in the ski shed and their boots are dried for them every night.

The rooms are a good size and guests say the shared bathrooms did not prove an issue for them. The only time they saw other guests is at breakfast. Some guests find the rooms are small but cosy.
