Really noisy in parts
If you want to make sure you have a good night's sleep at Sky Lantern, then you should book a room on the higher levels. The ground level rooms are next to the stairway, and in the evening there is music coming from the lobby. Some guests love it, however for those who wish to relax have complained about the noise.
No elevator available
There have been some frustrated guests who felt that it was not ideal for them to have to walk up four flights of stairs to get to their room. If you happen to find yourself in one of these rooms, you should ask the staff to assist with your luggage.
Patong Beach too far
Most visitors do not want to walk all the way to the very popular Patong Beach, and have complained about the expensive tuk-tuks, however other visitors have said you can rent a bike which is much more economical.
