Unbeatable Location Overlooking Ocean
Guests raved about the stunning ocean views available from their bedrooms, allowing them to take in both sunrises and sunsets. Most rooms also provide views of the famous Yaquina Head Lighthouse and the south jetty. Guests on the third floor seemed to have the best views of all.

No Lack of Things To Do

Major Renos Long Overdue
Many guests were disappointed with the hugely dated feel to the entire hotel, with the hallways described as bleak and musty smelling, and the bedrooms described as grungy, tired, and having worn, beaten-up furniture. Mold and grunge was also discovered in the bathrooms.

Stuffy Rooms Offer No Relief
Guests were disappointed to discover that there was no A/C to help provide relief to the rooms, often described as hot and stuffy. To make matters worse, the windows could not be opened as an alternative.

Rooms Are Missing the Basics
On top of finding the rooms to be highly dated, basic room amenities that should be keeping up with the times were also found to come well short. The free Wi-Fi was found to be painfully slow, while the inefficient, ancient tube TV was found to be laughable.
