The 4-star Scandic Sydhavnen is found in Copenhagen’s Sydhavnen district, within ten minutes’ drive of Copenhagen Airport, Visit Carlsberg, Copenhagen Zoo and Fisketorvet Byens Shopping Centre. Tivoli Gardens can also be reached within 10 minutes, via the nearby train service which runs to Copenhagen Central Station. All rooms at this hotel have wooden flooring, an en-suite bathroom and hairdryer, flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, iron, desk, and an armchair or sofa. The conference facilities can fit up to 400 delegates, guests can take time out in the modern gym, sauna or 9-hole minigolf course and there is a kids playroom and playground. Scandic Sydhavnen has free, on-site parking. Meadow Garden restaurant offers an airy dining experience, whether inside, next to feature windows, or on the terrace, while there is also a bar and breakfast buffet. Central attractions like Amalienborg Palace and Nyhavn are reachable within half an hour using public transport.

Scandic Sydhavnen was found to be handily located for both the airport and downtown Copenhagen, with train station near by, only two stops from central station and Tivoli Gardens, and plenty of free parking available for drivers.
Most of those who stayed thought the buffet breakfasts were excellent, with a very wide array of food on offer, even including some organic products.
Guests thought the staff to be generally helpful and friendly, especially the responsive reception staff, however a few thought there to be an understaffing issue.
While the vast majority of people were happy with Scandic Sydhavnen’s breakfasts buffets, a a few people were not impressed by dirty cups and plates, and at how crowded it could get at times.
Some guests considered the rooms to be in need of refurbishment,with worn decor and furnishings, while the state of cleanliness was also thought to be a little below standard and a few people reported their rooms not being cleaned during their stay.
A small number of those who stayed said they were surprised with the 4-star rating, with some rooms described as plain and lacking in the amenities one might expect — not the least a kettle for tea and coffee.
