Hotel Scandic Oslo City (Oslo, Norway)

Some guests have chosen this hotel purely because it was appearing cheaper than other hotels in a similar location. They feel it posed excellent value for money and would stay again. There is even a small fitness room for guests who want to work out whilst away.

Oslo's central train station is located just a couple of minutes' walk from the hotel and is therefore easily accessible even if you have luggage with you. It is also within walking distance from the port for those arriving by ferry. It is really conveniently located and you can tour Oslo on foot or use the tube and tram links for longer journeys.

Whether you're after a bite to eat for lunch, a hearty breakfast or coffee and cakes the hotel can cater for you. Guests have complimented the food here, saying there is a wide range of choices and food that is served is of a high quality.

Rooms are very small and if there are two of you sharing you may find it too cramped if staying for longer than a couple of days. Guests do concede that if you are out exploring all day then it is more than enough space to simply lay your head.

Many guests have commented that the shower area is very small and cramped and even turning around is a bit of a mission.

This hotel is functional and more than adequate and guests should not expect any extra touches of luxury. Staff are friendly and attentive and the rooms have televisions, Wi-Fi but no tea and coffee making facilities.
