Hotel Scandic Gamla Stan (Stockholm, Sweden)

The Rica hotel is a three star property located in in old part of the city of Stockholm in the historic Gamla Stan neighbourhood. The hotel is housed in a 17th century building and within walking distance to the cathedral and only 100 metres from Gamla Stan metro station. Stockholm Arlanda airport is 20km from the hotel. The hotel has 51 guest rooms which are all decorated in a classical 18th century Gustavion style with antiques. The guest rooms are all en-suite and have televisions with cable channels, telephones, hair dryers, mini bars and wireless internet access. All the guest rooms are non-smoking and due to the historical building there are no rooms which have been especially adapted for disabled guests. A buffet breakfast is served daily but the hotel has no restaurant onsite however there are several restaurants within the general vicinity of the hotel. There is a lobby lounge which does sell drinks and snacks. Two meeting and conference rooms are located in the hotel cellar vault which can accommodate up to 25 delegates which the hotel can provide catering for.
