About Hotel San Giorgio

San Giorgio Hotel is located in the heart of the Sasso Barisano district in Matera. The accurate restoration work has brought back the ancient prestige of two noble palaces dating back to 1700s; the first palace is located in via Fiorentini (at the junction of via Fiorentini and via D'Addozio) and the other one in Recinto II Paradiso, just a short walk from the historic Piazza Sedile. Respecting the original architecture, the residence has been designed with unique features: ten suites provide guests with full independence and at the same time offering all the comfort of a hotel; the suites can accommodate from 1 to 4 people and each accommodation has its own entrance, air conditioning and heating system, private bathroom, kitchenette and satellite TV; furthermore, all our suites are equipped with whirpool shower and two of the six classic suites are equipped with spa bathtub. All suites have outdoor spaces, for common as well as for private use, to have breakfast or simply spend free time relaxing.
