Hotel Royal (Stuttgart, Germany)

According to reviews, Royal has an excellent location in the centre of Stuttgart; close to plenty of shopping, dining and bars. On top of this, the Stadtmitte metro station is said to be a short walk away, putting the Hauptbahnhof central train station within easy reach.

Guests were of the opinion that the staff service here was of a good standard, with the team proving to be friendly and accommodating. Moreover, those who ate in the restaurant mentioned that the food was delicious and that there was plenty of it.

Those who stayed all reported clean quarters with comfortable beds, and those guests who got modernised rooms thought that these were very nice.

The decor here was a bit too old fashioned for the tastes of some, with others going as far as describing the rooms as dated. However, some reviews show that certain rooms seem to have been modernised, and some guests actually rather liked the authentic, old world atmosphere.

Royal guests were disappointed to find that the Wi-Fi connection is rooms was not of much use, since this is only really designed to be available in the hotel's common areas. Furthermore, the lack of air conditioning in some rooms of this hotel was a point of contention for some, who found their rooms much too hot in summer.

Not everyone was impressed with the breakfast selection, with a wider selection of hot options wished for by a few, while others were not happy at the lack of safety deposit box, and some found their rooms to have too much noise disturbance from the street.
