Positive Reviews
positive:
Plenty of dining options is very convenient.
Aside from the hotel’s own restaurant, Antibes itself has a fine selection of restaurants that are in close proximity to the establishment. La Tavern Du Safranier is just one of the most sough-after outdoor dining options. A ten-minute walk from the hotel can lead you to Le Marche Provençale where you can enjoy fresh fruits, and vegetables.
positive:
Professional and well-performing staff.
From the parking staff, receptionists, to the maintenance personnel of the hotel, you will find them and their services professional. They are gracious, friendly, accommodating and hospitable. It doesn’t matter if you don’t speak French; you will not have any trouble communicating with them.
positive:
A good base to explore Antibes and the Riviera.
There are plenty of tourist attractions that your feet can manage to explore from the Royal Antibes. The Antibes Old Town is just a ten-minute walk away, while Juan Le Pins is only twenty-minutes far.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A road separates the hotel from the beach.
Contrary to what other travel websites are saying, the hotel is not directly connected to the beach. A road separates the two, and this road could be an issue during your stay. During a busy day/night, traffic noise can penetrate your room.
negative:
Some rooms have no views.
Some of the rooms, however, have windows that are adjacent to other façade of a building. You might be surprised that your window is actually facing a brick wall. Thus, make sure to book a room that has an overlooking view of the sea or the courtyard.
negative:
Poor and unreliable Internet connection.
You might be disappointed that a web page you’re trying to access will load in minutes, not in seconds. Wi-Fi connection sure functions, but it is slow and unreliable. However, some guests experience good Internet connection at the lobby.
