The Relais Monastero Santa Teresa, a historical monument, is a Baronial Palace of the thirteenth century, which was converted into a cloistered Monastery of the Discalced Carmelites in 1600, following the donation of Baron Sambiasi to the church. It is located in the old town centre of Nardò, next to the Bishop Palace and the Cathedral.
