The 4-star Relais Le Macine di Stigliano has been created thanks to accurate restoration of an ancient building forming part of a medieval fortification built by the Ardengheschi Earls in the early decades of the XI century. Situated on the east side of the Sienese Montagnola, it enjoys a magnificent panoramic position over the Sienese countryside.
