The 4-star Relais Le Macine di Stigliano has been created thanks to accurate restoration of an ancient building forming part of a medieval fortification built by the Ardengheschi Earls in the early decades of the XI century. Situated on the east side of the Sienese Montagnola, it enjoys a magnificent panoramic position over the Sienese countryside. The reception, living room, the breakfast room and the bar are furnished with elegantly furniture and every last detail has been addressed with the greatest attention in order to make the environment extremely warm and welcoming.
