Hotel Red Roof Inn PLUS + Phoenix West (Phoenix, USA)

The hotel has been undergoing renovations so many rooms are newly painted with new carpets, etc. They are clean, spacious and the beds very comfortable. An added bonus, pets are welcome (one per room) and they'll happily accommodate you on the first floor for convenience.

Red Roof Inn Phoenix West is conveniently located for accessing the airport and is right on highway I-10 for straight access into downtown Phoenix and to other points of interest. If you're attending area events and sports, it's close to a number of venues and stadiums. This hotel offers good value and convenience for the area.

The front desk staff is excellent. They are very friendly, attentive and anxious to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Check-in and check-out are efficient and painless. Staff is also helpful with restaurant and general area information.

Due to the recent construction, there is a smell of paint in the hotel and often work going on. That said, the improvements being made are beneficial in the long run and assuming you get a newly renovated room, it's worth it. Also, the lobby and exterior do look very nice.

The area where Red Roof Inn Phoenix West is located is less than desirable. It's run down and a bit scary after dark with not much around except gas stations and fast food.

There isn't much offered by way of amenities at the hotel. No breakfast or onsite restaurant, just coffee in the lobby and a vending machine. For the price however, the value is good and it's an acceptable place to stay for a night or two when you are in the area.
