The hotel enjoys a convenient location; close to the market, nightlife and numerous sandy beaches. There are also numerous restaurants and shopping opportunities within walking distance- including the Jungceylon Mall.

Guests are highly complimentary of the breakfasts on offer at the hotel; there is plenty of choice- including options for vegetarians. Other meals are said to be of high quality and reasonably priced too, and guests can get discounted rates at the nearby Hooters and Hard Rock Cafe.

The staff are warm and welcoming- always trying to put a name to a face. Any and all questions are answered, and staff are both efficient and friendly.

The hotel does run a concierge service, and guests can book various tours at the desk. While convenient, most would recommend booking tours independently though, as you will pay considerably more for the privilege of utilising the hotel's services.

As with the majority of alternative accommodation locally, guests at Dusit D2 Phuket Resort ex Courtyard Patong are likely to recognise the effects of the humidity in the region; mould can be seen in the corridors and some rooms may smell damp.

The hotel boasts a central location- close to everything however, as a downside, guests can experience noise disturbance from the bars and clubs nearby. The newly-opened rooftop club has caused issues for those on higher floors too- with music continuing into the early hours.
