Friendly, cheerful, charming and helpful are just some of the words used by many reviewers to describe the personnel at Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel Stockholm.
Nestled between Stockholm central station and the Klara Sjo canal, reviewers mostly found this hotel ideal for easy access to public transport, shopping areas and sightseeing in the city center. A few wheelchair users also mentioned finding the hotel easy to reach from the station.
Those who sampled the modern Scandinavian dishes at the RBG Bar & Grill left largely positive reviews. Some guests were impressed by the choice on offer at the hotel's big Sunday brunch buffet option and the daily breakfast buffet too. Reviewers rushing in the morning liked the option of a quick breakfast in the lobby.
Being in a modern tower in central Stockholm means most guests found the hotel comfortable and convenient. However, not everybody liked the architecture, describing it as out of place in the surrounding skyline. If traditional architecture is high on your list of important criteria, you might be disappointed. Indeed, locals have voted the Stockholm Waterfront complex, part of which is occupied by the hotel, as the city building they would most like to replace.
Reviewers' reports suggested the best views of Stockholm and Riddarfjarden are from the upgrade rooms and suites. So if you have a standard room, the view might not be as captivating as those from the upper floors. In any case, reviewers recommended taking odd number rooms for water views.
Occasionally guests described frustrations with the free Wi-Fi. Issues encountered included service interruptions, slow speeds and weak signal.
