Port Palace is an upscale boutique hotel that overlooks Porte Monte-Carlo. Spacious rooms boast colourful decor. Flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, upscale toiletries, air conditioning, minibar and bathrobe are standard. Port Palace features a spa with a menu of massage and beauty treatments, Jacuzzi and steam room. Fitness room, 24-hour room service, tennis court, shuttle service, business centre, concierge, multilingual staff, dry cleaning/laundry services and babysitting services are a plus. La Marée Restaurant offers upscale Mediterranean cuisine, a fine wines list and features terrace seating with a view of the harbour. The hotel’s Bar offers a light menu, spirits, fine wines and beer. Le Vistamar, located near the hotel, features Asian cuisine. You can walk to Monte Carlo Harbour, Casino de Monte Carlo, Casino Square, Chapelle Sainte Devote, Opera de Monte Carlo, Vieux Monaco, Le Metropole Shopping Centre, Place du Palais and the Japanese Gardens from the hotel.

All of the guest rooms at Port Palace have views of Monte Carlo Harbour which are absolutely stunning. This is unusual as most hotels require that you upgrade to a more expensive room in order to get a view such as this, but this one comes with the territory.
It’s wonderful that pets are welcome here because it’s fun to be able to travel with your favourite canine companion. Your dog will love it too because Monaco is such a dog friendly place and there are so many great walks to be had right outside your door.
There’s nothing like adding a spa day to your holiday agenda, especially when you can have that spa treatment and then just head back to your room for a cat nap. With the addition of a fitness centre, Jacuzzi and steam at your disposal, you can stay relaxed for the duration of your stay.
The guest rooms at Port Palace could use some attention. Dated furnishings and bathroom fixtures in need of replacement make for a less-than-pleasing aesthetic.
Unfortunately, unless you upgrade to a suite where you have a kitchenette, there are no tea and coffee facilities in the guest rooms. This is a drag because it means you need to get your initial caffeine hit by ordering room service or by getting dressed and going to the hotel lobby.
The place where breakfast is served is set up in the reception area. This makes for cramped conditions and next-to-no privacy for those eating their first meal of the day, which is not optimal for anyone.
