Positive Reviews
positive:
Terrific position right on the beach
Of course it was the hotel's position right on the beach that most impressed guests. While there do not seem to be good sea views, the Med is really just steps from the property, and guest were happy their beach holiday didn't include long treks to its main feature.
positive:
Great animation team around the pool
While these might seem like two factors, in many guest's minds they were very much integrated. They certainly liked the pool terrace in its own right, for the ability to relax, poolside, but found that the animation team who worked the area significantly enhanced the experience by adding an element of fun.
positive:
Decent food at the buffet restaurant
While there were inevitably contrary opinions expressed as well, but the majority seemed to really enjoy the food at the hotels main buffet restaurant. Many were perhaps surprised, but they described a buffet that was tasty, and even more important, varied. They never seemed to get tired of the food, even when staying some time.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Extra charge for Wi-Fi
Outside of the very limited free Wi-Fi available around reception, the hotel charges a fee for access. Many guests felt that this was out of keeping with the changing times, where connectivity was so central to modern life, and should therefore be included as standard.
negative:
No on-site parking
A couple of motorists were both surprised and disappointed that the hotel had no on-site parking. They had to park at a neighbouring property.
negative:
Rooms just a little tired
While guests conceded that the hotel didn't look bad, some pointed out bits here and there that they thought were looking a bit worn. In their minds, these needed to be seen to quickly if the hotel were to retain its standard.
