Hotel Peristil (Split, Croatia)

Guests were pleased to find that they were within walking distance of many of the city's historic landmarks and attractions. Those who were keen to sample the local bars and restaurants found it convenient having the  main promenade with its array of amenities on their doorstep. Many thoroughly enjoyed waking up to the panoramic views of the city from their rooms which they described as the highlight of their stay.

The hotel is located inside the Diocletian's Palace and some rooms even have the exposed  Palace walls as an interior feature which left a lasting impression on many. Guests enjoyed learning about the building's rich historical past and said that staying at the hotel was an extremely valuable and interesting experience.

All the members of staff including the hotel owners were said to be very attentive and always on hand offering assistance to guests as well as helpful tips and advice. Many said that they felt relaxed and well-looked after for the duration of their stay.

Due to the age of the building there is no lift on the premises and some guests said they found it quite tiring climbing the stairs on a daily basis. Those carrying luggage were offered assistance by the staff.

Guests whose rooms were overlooking the main square said that they could hear noise late in the evening from the street below as well as street performers early in the morning which they found quite intrusive.

The hotel only has a small lobby area and some guests said they would have proffered to have had a lounge where they could sit and relax.
