Hotel Pelican Eyes Resort and Spa (San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua)

The rooms and accommodations were found to be very inviting by most guests who enjoyed the lush and quiet surroundings. The rooms were spacious and had the necessary utilities and the bathrooms were nice.

The staff were thought to be attentive and courteous by most guests. They felt the staff made sure they enjoyed their stay and they took care of making it easier for guests. Questions and comments were listened to carefully.

The resorts location near the ocean and surrounded by forest and mountains was found to be ideal and fabulous. The views from the rooms were beautiful and well worth the stay. Some guests even saw monkeys in their natural setting.

There were days when the winds would blow dirt and debris into the thatched-roof of the rooms which made them dirty. It was annoying to have this issue of dust everywhere.

Many guests did not enjoy that the hotel was very unfriendly when it came to easy access in the hotel. There were stairs throughout and these too were not the safest to step on. Those who were in the villas had to take shuttles to get to the restaurant.

Guests did not like the fact that the on-site restaurants had expensive cuisine. The taste and quality of the food did not leave a good impression as well, and guests were disappointed with this. They preferred to eat out for a cheaper price and better quality.
