Many were pleased to find that they could reach lots of local attractions on foot such as the Fleet Air Museum which is just a short stroll away. Those who wanted to sample some of the local bars and restaurants appreciated having numerous amenities on their doorstep. If you like the idea of not having to drive whilst on holiday or worry about getting public transport, then you'll certainly appreciate this hotel's location.

During finer weather guests enjoyed sitting out in the garden with a few drinks or simply taking in the scenic views. The comfortable lounge with the cosy open fire and Sky sports flat screen TV was also a popular spot for those looking to unwind and socialise.

Those who dined at the on-site restaurant were highly complementary about the quality of the food which they described as being full of flavour and made from quality local produce. The dishes were said to be beautifully presented and many appreciated the wide variety of options on the menus.

Several plumbing-related issues were reported by the guests ranging from noisy pipes through to slow draining sinks. Some also mentioned that they found it difficult to adjust the water temperature when showering.

The rooms are starting to show their age according to some of the guests who objected to marks on the walls, old-fashioned furniture and dated bathroom suites. Worn carpets and tatty looking upholstery were also brought up by disappointed guests.

The hotel is a popular venue for parties and wedding receptions . Guests whose rooms were close to the function suite said that they often found it difficult  to sleep due to late-night noise and loud music.
