The popular Legian Beach and Legian Art Market are 15-minute walk from this beachfront property. Featuring marble bathrooms with free toiletries and hairdryers, the rooms are fully air-conditioned. Each comes with a satellite TV, refrigerator, and coffee & tea making facilities. Upgraded rooms boast terraces and living areas. Melasti Beach Resort also features a rooftop terrace and children’s club. For recreation, there is an outdoor tennis court and fitness area available. One of the best things about the resort was the close distance from the beach area. Guests were able to enjoy a relaxing view of the beach since the property had easy access to the Legian Beach. Guests also enjoyed its nearness to different shopping areas, bars, and restaurants.
The exciting swimming pool area, which also offers a swim up bar, is very enjoyable for guests especially the kids. Moreover, there are plenty of pools available. Since these pools are not crowded, everyone can relax within the pool area anytime.
Due to the wide selection of food especially designed not just for locals but also for foreigners, guests were extremely delighted. The food catered to almost any nationality or culture, was freshly cooked and prepared, and was served in generous amounts at the beach front restaurant.
Aside from the loud music from the bars, guests also had difficulty getting proper sleep due to the loud conversations from people from the adjacent rooms and within the pool area. There were large group of tourists gathering at different parts of the hotel that talked loudly or screamed.
Guests were disappointed with the poor quality of the beds. The colour was quite dirty and poorly maintained, and there were also visible lumps. Moreover, guests had difficulty sleeping due to the uneven texture and spring which can easily be felt and were very uncomfortable.
Apart from the small size of the bathrooms which was not suitable for tall people, guests were also dissatisfied with the poorly maintained bathroom amenities. Toilets have leaks and visible stains, the towels have discolouration, and the overall shower design was dated.
