Masseria Chicco Rizzo, built in 1700, is one of the oldest farmhouses in Salento and its name comes from a type of wheat to poor water which in local dialect was called "Rahi" or "curled". Former post House and commercial hub of the time, the farm was the hub of goods and communications from the coast inland.
