Luz de Luna Nuyoo

Luz de Luna Nuyoo is a small Hostel located in a beautiful colonial house only three blocks from the main plaza. As you walk in the hostel the first thing you will see is the central patio, decorated with a variety of regional plants and the traditional fountain in the center, a cool escape from the typical heat of Oaxaca. The patio ambience is the ideal place to relax in its hammocks, read or meet other fellow travelers. In addition to the enchanting character of Luz de Luna you will be greeted by two lovely cats and a very friendly dog, part of the family living in the Hostel. Luz de Luna is committed to the environment. We collect rain water, promote recycling by separating all wastes, use a solar water heater and more. Complimentary to your stay we offer regional coffee; which also supports local economy, tea toasted bread and fruit. All rooms have bathrooms with a separate shared shower room. We also have free wi-fi and book exchange. Registration time is from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. (beds or rooms available around 1:30pm). Check out time is at 11:00 a.m. Cash only accepted for payment.
