The Hotel La Vela Castle Lodge is surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation is slightly on the hill at 5-minute-walk from the sea and the citys center.The wide roof terraces with view on the sea are the ideal place to relax and enjoy the wonderful view over the Tigullio Gulf.Leaving from S.Margherita by ferry you will be in 15 minutes in Portofino and in 30 minutes in S.Fruttuoso , where you could see the abysses Christ( a statue in the Abbeys Bay).Otherwise you could go to 5 Terre: leaving by train(every two hours) or by ferry as well.Close to S. Margherita there is also an enchanting borough called Camogli ,which is small but very suggestive for its scenery.
