Positive Reviews
positive:
Decent, Basic & Pet-Friendly
This is a no-frills, pet-friendly spot about six miles from downtown Savannah and the riverfront, near plenty of shopping, parks, entertainment and restaurants. Easy access on/off the Interstate 95. There's a large swimming pool, gym and small business center. You'll get the basic complimentary continental breakfast every morning with items like bagels, fruit, juice, coffee and waffles. Good value.
positive:
Standard, Adequate Rooms
Rooms are spacious and nicely-equipped with most expected amenities. Great beds for sleeping. Most found their rooms tidy and well-organized. Light sleepers might prefer a room facing away from the road on an upper floor. Ask about refrigerators and microwaves; not all units provide them.
positive:
Friendly Staff
Helpful and accommodating staff will work to ensure your comfort from arrival to departure.

Crying for a Refurb
Although most areas are kept neat, many are quite noticeably in need of sprucing. Bathroom upgrades should be a priority; the layouts have half the fixtures out in the open room and the other half in the bathroom. Sporadic internet causes some to only be able to access with their laptops while mobile devices, (which most travelers carry to hotels with them,) are a no-go.
negative:
Dirty, Noisy & Musty
Some found their rooms and common hallways to be less than optimally clean; rooms smelled musty while sweepers clearly missed some floors pretty often, with hair and dirt gathered in corners. Others experienced noise from the front road's many late night racers, as they appear to organize in the adjacent Dollar Store General parking lot. The police will eventually come, but you'll not likely sleep until they do.
negative:
A Bit Far
Central Savannah is an easy ride away, but some wished they could walk there. Not unless you'd enjoy a long walk; it's about six miles each way.
