The staff is very professional and polite at King’s Hotel. By taking care of small little guests needs, staff proves that they put hospitality above everything else. From extending warm welcome to sorting minor issues, the staff proves its efficiency.

The food has been rated good by the guests. The food and drinks are not overpriced and of good quality. Sunday Carvery and other specials are a must-try at the restaurant and the selection of wines is also good.

Set in a Georgian style building, Kings Hotel is good place to stay if you want to experience the local historical sights as well as Rochester nightlife.

Many guests reported that the room was not as clean and there was dirt and grime on the floor and windows. The rooms facilities are very basic, stairway leading to the room has unwanted furniture lying uselessly and dismal decoration is there. Lack of tea/coffee making facilities is not liked by guests. Scope of improvement is there in the cleanliness department.

Some guests faced issues in the bathroom like lack of anti-slip mat, same temperature of hot and cold water in tap, no hot water, weak water flush, faulty shower head etc. More renovation will be welcomed.

The DJ nights on weekends may disturb the guests trying to sleep in rooms. The loud noise of music distracts and disturbs, so does the voice of people coming and going out of the bar.
