Negative Reviews
negative:
Lack of modern windows and soundproofing.
The hotel has retained much of its original period features including the Victorian Style windows. The lack of modern double glazing makes for a somewhat noisy stay with a fair amount of construction work and renovations going on in the area during the day, and the traffic of people going out at night.
negative:
Choose your en-suite wisely.
All rooms are with en-suite facilities however, not all en-suites feature a bath. Some of the hotel guest room en-suite facilities are shower only, so if a bath tub is important it may be worth ensuring that your booking reflects this feature.
negative:
Not close to the tube station.
The property is quite close to Kensington Road but about six or seven blocks or about a 10 to 15 minute walk from High Street Kensington tube station.
