Il Vicario was originally built in the 1300s. this beautiful Tuscan rectory is surrounded by the picturesque scenery of the Tuscan hills and is located only 4 km outside the centre of San Gimignano. Il Vicario was restructured with care, maintaining the original style, and it offers five comfortable rooms as well as an apartment. While the rooms overlook the courtyard, the apartment, which had been an old granary, offers a wide view of the Tuscan countryside. In addition, guests can enjoy a truly relaxing panoramic view of the towers of San Gimignano directly from our swimming pool. The constant presence of Fulvio and his niece Katia means that Il Vicario is not just the usual B&B; it will always feel like visiting old friends! It is really important to us that our guests can enjoy a familiar atmosphere in this little piece of paradise. So everyone is always welcome to join our lunches and dinners prepared by the skilled hands of Katia and Fulvio. And if you would like to know the secrets of our cuisine, we even offer cooking classes.
