Hotel iCheck inn Gems Center Silom (Bangkok, Thailand)

The hotel is well set close to many restaurants and bars.  Just a short stroll from the hotel is the Silom Village Trade Centre. Those who prefer public means of transportation will be pleased to note that the BTS station 5 min walk from hotel.

Guests were pleased to find that the rooms were simple, very clean and quite spacious. The modern decor blended well with the rest of the hotel. The bathrooms were very roomy and the water pressure was exceptionally good.

You will be guaranteed a wonderful start off at the hotel. The staff members' friendly personality together with their positive approach puts you at ease from when you first walk into the hotel to the moment when you check out. Any arising issues are quickly solved by the staff.

A few of the guests were bothered by the squeaking noises that their beds made.  Other complained about the pillows and mattresses being hard. Even though some asked for replacement, they were provided with ones that they felt were still quite hard, much to their liking.

Whether it is at the lobby, in the rooms or the public places, the Wi-Fi connection was pretty slow. The speed was also quite unacceptable and heavy users couldn't be well accommodated. They found this to be very problematic.

A few guests were rather disappointed with the condition of the air conditioning units. Some systems were hard to adjust, reset and could not turn off.
