ibis Styles Trier was built right into the historic “Posthof”, Trier’s former post office. It’s located in the heart of Trier’s historic city center, a place rich with monuments from medieval times and even the ancient roman metropolis that stood there before them, making Trier Germany’s oldest surviving city. The world-famous Porta Nigra is just one of many spectacular sights that are within comfortable walking distance. As are the picturesque Mosel river and Trier’s train station.
