Positive Reviews
positive:
Great for business...
Many corporate travelers choose the hotel for its proximity to local businesses and the airport, but those who aren't in the city to gamble also appreciate the quieter location outside of the downtown core, close to the freeway with easy access to Lake Tahoe. There are many restaurants and a grocery store nearby, too.
positive:
Lots of room to relax...
Guests generally describe the suites as very comfortable, with plenty of space and well equipped kitchens. Families particularly love the space and flexibility offered by the one-bedroom and two-bedroom layouts, and many well rested travelers rave about the beds.
positive:
Friendly staff at all hours...
The front desk staff have received many positive reviews for their pleasant and professional customer service. Jet-lagged travelers appreciate a warm greeting even in the wee hours, while the housekeeping staff receive high marks for very clean, well maintained rooms. The breakfast and evening reception are widely considered part of the hotel's overall "good value," and most (though not all!) find something that pleases their palate as well as their wallet.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Too few tables...
Though the dining area is generally described as inviting, it can sometimes seem too crowded, as hungry guests have recommended more tables.
negative:
Noisy neighbors...
Guests assigned rooms near the basketball court have been dismayed to find there is no "closing time" for the facility, while others have been kept up (or woken early) by inconsiderate guests in the rooms above or next door.
negative:
Going to the dogs...
The hotel is pet friendly, and guests have been unpleasantly surprised to see dogs in the public areas of the hotel, including the dining room. Others have smelled smoke in their nonsmoking rooms.
