Hauza Beach Resort is located on the Gulf of Aqaba, right next to the beach.
The 505 rooms of the resort feature air conditioning, flat screen TVs, minibars, hair dryers, and private balconies.
The hotel provides guests with a restaurant, pool, water park, fitness centre, tennis courts, gardens, bar, business centre, meeting rooms, shops, free parking, and free Wi-Fi in public areas.
Every morning a free breakfast is served. Guests can enjoy food from the Sinai Peninsula or classic international food at the restaurant or have a night out in the desert for a Bedouin experience.
Hauza Beach Resort is located about a mile from Jabal Umm Barqah. The resort is also located near Tiran Island and local reef systems. The international airport is about three miles from the resort.
Firstly, it must unfortunately be stated tat the reviews were, on average, very bad for Hauza Beach Resort, especially for recent years. About the only positive point that all can agree on is that it has a very good beachfront position. It was a simple matter to walk down there, and the hotel has its own beach club as well.
Extensive pool and water park
While some guests felt the water wasn't properly cleaned and filtered, most agreed that the structures are terrific, with a lot of great waterslides which are fun for all ages.
While most guests did find more than one or two issues with the resort, some went on to add that their room-rate was so reasonable that they felt they received good value for money.
No air conditioning in the restaurants
Several guests were simply astonished to find that both the reception and the restaurants had no air conditioning. Naturally this meant that they were sweltering when loads of warm bodies were confined to small areas in the Egyptian dessert heat.
Exceptionally poor staff
It was hard to find a good word written about the staff. The general feeling one gets from reading the reviews is that they are not fully engaged and have not been sufficiently trained for the duties they have been tasked with.
Problems with cleanliness
A number of guests were very unhappy about the
state of cleanliness, of both their rooms and the resort as a whole. They got
the feeing that, for reasons that were not entirely clear, standards have
slipped recently and the size of the resort was making it difficult to apply
proper quality standards.
