The hotel is maintained to a good standard and housekeeping work hard to ensure the public areas, along with the guestrooms, are kept exceptionally clean. The fitness center and hot tub are also kept pristine. The business center is convenient for guests traveling for work purposes and the hotel Wi-Fi is also fairly reliable.

There are not many properties in this area and this hotel boasts an exceptional location. Guests arriving by car will feel it’s easy to find and there is plenty of parking available. There are restaurants and a cinema within easy walking distance and ferries to Block Island and the area’s beautiful beaches are accessible by car in less than 30 minutes.

The rooms are spacious and well presented, with comfortable beds and good quality linens. The hotel staff will also try and meet any room requests such as adjoining rooms. The breakfast area is a pleasant place to start the morning with a variety of menu choices including both hot and cold items.

If you are staying more than one night it’s worth noting that whilst some rooms have a nice view others are less than desirable. It may be worth requesting at check-in if there are any rooms with views available.

Some guests have expected fridges in each guestroom and therefore have been disappointed to find this is not the case.

Soundproofing could be improved as noise does travel from the corridor and from other rooms. This seems to be mainly down to other guests not keeping the noise down when in certain areas of the hotel.
