This hotel is well located, being easily accessible by car from the motorway system, and has a large free car park for guests. It is within easy access either by tram, or 10 minutes on foot, to the centre of Strasbourg and the European Institution buildings. The hotel enjoys good views to the cathedral, and for those of other faith is handy for the Jewish quarter and its synagogues.
Guests found that this hotel, although slightly dated, offers good value for money, with good sized rooms and comfortable beds. The bathroom facilities work well, and there is the benefit of a pool and sauna, also extensive accommodation for business and social events.
Staff were helpful and friendly, a request for an extra bed in the room had been complied with on arrival, and the check-in and out was fast and efficient.

The Wi-Fi was patchy in operation, particularly during business hours, and the TV screen was much too small. The air-conditioning is not very effective, necessitating the opening of windows in the room. In one case the air conditioning was not working at all, this is said by the management to have been repaired. The card system to the lift, and room key did not work all the time, and operation of the shower was not straightforward.
All in all this hotel is slightly dated, as reflected by the items that did not work quite as they should, however, with the exception of breakfast and soft drinks it represents quite good value for money.
