Despite the close proximity to Heathrow Airport, the inn is reportedly very quiet. Several guests noted they were unable to hear a single aircraft in the rooms. Rooms overlooking the beautiful garden are especially serene.

Some of the decor in The Cottage rooms may feel dated. Bedding and bedspreads are old-fashioned, however they are still kept in very clean and comfortable.

Some guests reported a difficulty in regulating the water temperature in the en suite shower. Water temperatures fluctuated from either very hot or very cold. This was a minor issue reported by a small number of guests and should be a rare occurrence.

Although the inn features breakfast, guests may have to journey on foot for ten to twenty minutes before finding a nearby restaurant. This should only be a problem for some traveling without a vehicle and unable to walk for a sustained period of time.
