About Fishermans Tavern

Hotel Fisherman's Tavern has a busy public bar plus en-suite guest rooms. It is the ideal spot in which to relax and listen to the local fishermen’s tales. Single, twin, double, family and executive king-size rooms are available. They include a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, hospitality tray, and a telephone. At Hotel Fisherman's Tavern there is a secluded walled garden, also a beer garden, for relaxation. Then there is the public bar which is open daily. A prime feature is a TV showing BT and Sky Sports events. A freshly cooked and substantial Scottish breakfast is served each morning. Also served daily are imaginative lunch and dinner menus ranging from vegan fish and chips to Balmoral burgers. The traditional Haggis is an optional extra item. This Dundee suburb is approximately four miles from the city centre. The revered Carnoustie Golf Club is around seven miles away and excellent public transport links apply. It is 15 miles, and a grand day out, to Glamis Castle.
