hen it came to getting around the area, the accommodation’s location was generally seen in a positive light by former visitors. Both the beach and Bayfront are within comfortable walking distance from the hotel, while other Newport attractions are seen as easy to reach overall.

Whilst it was regarded as a bit of a tight squeeze on occasion, the free on-site parking was regularly a plus point for most of those that travelled to the hotel in their own vehicle.

With them described as dated and showing signs of wear and tear, the condition of the accommodation’s rooms was judged unfavourably by the majority of past visitors. In particular, the quality of the beds has been routinely criticised, with it being said that they were past their best and uncomfortable.

The breakfast was a disappointment for a sizeable number of those that previously stayed at the hotel. Along with a supposed lack of items to choose from, guests have said that the cramped breakfast room can get overly crowded at times.
