The hotel is within easy walking distance to many restaurants, as well as the local marina. It's also close to public transportation.

The room rates are quite affordable. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The free Wi-Fi is a nice feature as is the free parking. Some rooms even have spa tubs and the rooms with kitchenettes make it convenient for long stays and for families.

The staff is quite friendly and welcoming and nothing seems to be too much trouble. They easily accommodate special requests, like late checking in or out, and seem to focus on making the stay an easy and comfortable one.

This isn't a luxury hotel and won't include luxurious bedding. Although many rooms have kitchenettes, they don't include a dining table and chairs and only basic cook and serving ware is provided. There are few amenities onsite, such as a pool or other entertainment. It's basically just a standard motel room for a few night's sleep.

The hotel isn't brand new and is starting to show some wear and tear around the edges. Some furniture is scuffed or broken and some items are missing from the rooms.

When staying in the rooms, it will be very easy to hear street noise. Since there are so many pubs and restaurants just a stone's throw away, be prepared to have your sleeping hours match what goes on outside and down the street.
