Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Hannover Schweizerhof (Hanover, Germany)

Rooms are quite spacious according to travellers who add that you don't have to worry about feeling cramped when you are staying in your room.

Visitors say the hotel's location is excellent since it puts you near the centre of the city. A number of interesting places including the Hanover Zoo and HDI Arena are a short drive away while the city's main train station can be reached on foot.

Not only do the accommodations have pillowtop mattresses but a pillow menu is also available allowing you to chose just what type of pillow you wish to lay your head on. Guests were highly complimentary of the beds and bedding at the property.

A few guests were not thrilled with the performance of some of the employees at the hotel who don't seem all that interested in the job. They aren't rude by any means but some staff members do not place a priority on service according to a couple of visitors.

Complimentary Wi-Fi can be found in the rooms and common areas of the property but it is a limited service. Several travellers claim that the speed of the free internet is poor and also note that the Wi-Fi signal struggles to make it inside some of the rooms.

There is an on-site fitness centre at the hotel but a few guests claim the facility itself is a little disappointing since it lacks some equipment you might hope to use. While there is enough stuff there to get a basic workout done, don't expect anything beyond that.
