Hotel de La Paix

Opened in 1932 and run by the same family ever since, Hotel de la Paix is located 500 metres from the town centre. It offers comfortable double and triple rooms. All rooms boast en-suite bathrooms with showers, work desks, LCD TVs, and double glazing to help with noise control. The upgraded rooms in the west wing add in a balcony. Those touring Corsica by bicycle or motorcycle will find a garage where they can keep their bikes safe and sound. A TV room and free Wi-Fi allow guests to remain informed, entertained , and connected at all times. The 120-seat, in-house restaurant serves a continental breakfast throughout the year and evening meals during the busy summer season. There's also a handy on-site bar. Surprisingly, one of Corsicas most spectacular sights, Lac de Melu, is not on the coast but rather high in the mountains, 16 kilometres from Hotel de la Paix. Back in Corte itself, the Corsica Museum is just one kilometre from the hotel.
