Dar Said

The Dar Saïd hotel is situated in the small medieval town of Sidi Bou Saïd, on the Tunisian east coast, less than 30 minutes away from the centre of the Tunisian capital and 15 kilometres away from Tunis-Carthage International Airport. This four star establishment is set in a 19th century house, subsequently renovated and turned into a hotel. The view from here takes in the village of Sidi Bou Saïd itself, Carthage and the Bay of Tunis. Each of the eighty rooms of the hotel, whilst sporting a traditional Tunisian style, is individually decorated and furnished. Arranged around four traditional patios comprising fountains, jasmine and bougainvilleas, they all have a mini-bar, safe and a Turkish bath style bathroom. On the hotel grounds, a garden and an outside pool with terrace and deck-chairs offer a panoramic view of the surroundings. Customers also have access to a steam room and although there is not a restaurant within the hotel, breakfast is available. The hotel’s restaurant, Dar Zarrouk, is situated just across the road.
