The D’Andre Mare is a spectacularly situated resort, with endless views over the blue Aegean. In season, entertainment programs for all ages are arranged daily. The rooms have modern décor and feature satellite TV’s, air conditioning and minibars. The four pools are undoubtedly the focus of the resort. They have great views, and there’s one for every age group. There’s also an extensive spa area, where you can get any one of a number of revitalising treatments. The chefs in the buffet restaurant keep guests happy by preparing international dishes with a bit of a Greek twist. For drinks and light meals the focus moves to the pool bar, day and night. The D’Andrea Mare fronts onto a lovely beach, and is a convenient six miles’ from Rhodes Diagoras Airport.

In season, a comprehensive program is put on to entertain guests day and night. Guests have nothing but good things to say about the entertainers and how they really put their all into the performances.
Like most resorts, guests tend to hang out around the pool area much of the time at D'Andrea Mare. With very few exceptions, they were exceptionally happy with the huge pool terrace, which they described as extensive and with a great view.
The resort is close to Rhodes-Diagoras Airport. Guests were happy that, after a long flight, the transfer to the hotel was quick and painless.
On the other hand, the hotel is actually right on the approach path to the main runway. Of course this means jets pass overhead frequently, and cause a lot of noise.
An extremely common complaint, a lot of guests find the Wi-Fi painfully slow, while others find it not working at all. In particular, people who where staying at the resort for some time were quite upset that this meant they could not properly communicate with both friends and the office back home.
This is fairly common at resorts, and unfortunately D'Andrea Mare is no different. Guests say that the food is somewhat bland to begin with, and with repetition over the course of a holiday only gets worse. Visitors who have rented cars could consider forgoing the all-inclusive option and exploring nearby Rhodes Town, which has some excellent restaurants.
