Not gone to the dogs.
This is an area where outdoor activities are a real feature for visitors and of course, the family dog! Thankfully, they particularly welcome dogs here and obviously realise that they, too, deserve a break and lots of exercise!
Cwmwennol Country House is close to the coastal path, located in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and a 5 minutes’ walk from the beach. En-suite rooms at Cwmwennol Country House are traditional in style and include beverage making facilities, colour television and 4 poster options. Dogs are welcome and the area has much walking, cycling and horse riding appeal. Sea fishing trips are from nearby Saundersfoot and Tenby. Badgers are regular garden visitors! A breakfast choice is served in the restaurant with local produce forming the basis for later British and international dinner menus. Alternatively, light meals are available in the bar and in the company of a wood fire. There are facilities for social events, weddings and business gatherings and for the tourist; a base from which to visit the Preseli Hills, Carew Castle, the Largharne home of Dylan Thomas and a host of popular features.

Some places have antique type appeal but the wood chip ceilings and walls here are just plain dated and not attractive.
If walking in to the centre of Saundersfoot; it’s not far and neither is the journey memorable. It’s a pretty non-descript trip, apart from the fact that it is a busy main road. So take care!
