Hotel Costasol (Almeria, Spain)

The staff members were found to be friendly people for most guests. There was a 24-hour reception available to answer guest queries. They also willingly gave recommendations and information on the area, including restaurants and bars.

Many guests enjoyed the clean rooms available and thought they were decorated nicely. The clean rooms with modern facilities were appreciated, as well as the comfortable furnishings.

The location is thought to be nice since the hotel is close to tapa bars, the central area and about a ten minute walk from the beach. There were also plenty of restaurants, and the ferry and train station were also a close distance from the hotel.

The Wi-Fi was found to be weak and lacking for some guests who had a spotty Internet tow work with. There was coverage but it would drop in and out on several occasions which was annoying. It was probably not suitable for business visits.

Some guests were disappointed with the presentation of the breakfast in the morning. They felt it was not worth the price paid for it, as the items were lacking and the service as well. It only included a pastry, fruit juice and a hot drink for an expensive charge.

Some guests found the disinfectant or deodorant smell used in the rooms and bathrooms to be too much to stand. They felt it was too strong to the point of being nauseating and would have preferred natural air.
